Ultra-Therm Plate Heat Exchangers Range
The Ultra-Therm range includes a variety of plate type heat exchangers to suit your application. Choose from a gasketed plate and frame plate heat exchanger or a brazed plate heat exchanger depending on your project requirements.
Assembled in Australia by FluidPro Pty Ltd, we choose the right PHE gaskets, corrugated or brazed plates and frames to suit your temperature, fluid and environmental requirements.

What is a gasket plate heat exchanger?
A gasket plate heat exchanger consists of a frame, which consists of a front frame, rear (movable) frame, carrying bar, guiding bar, and a number of tie bolts depending on the type of the plate heat exchanger. In between front and rear frame, a number of plates that are pressed together sealed by a rubber gasket. The plate pack is placed between the two frames, it is tightened to a minimum distance which allows the plate heat exchanger to be operated under certain pressures. The heat is transferred from one medium to another one through the plates. The hot and cold medium flows between each of the plates and then they exchange their heat without mixing each other.
what is a brazed plate heat exchanger?
A brazed plate heat exchanger is a type of plate heat exchanger used to shift heat between two liquids. Brazed plate heat exchangers are considerably smaller than gasketed plate heat exchangers. As the plates connect directly, the brazing technology excludes the need for seals and thick frame plates. Frequently brazed plate heat exchangers are covered in a copper film, which makes them ideal to suit HVAC and refrigeration duties due to the copper's high thermal conductivity, resistance to atmospheric and water corrosion, sealing and joining by soldering, and mechanical strength. Electing brazed technology for your next heating or cooling project will produce many advantages, including savings in space, energy, and maintenance.
